Golden Lion Tamarin

A pastel drawing based on the wonderful photo  by Shadow-and-Flame-86. I've been debating the composition of this piece amongst friends - many people think I should leave this piece as it is. I'm tempted, as artists we often don't know when to stop. However I'm not happy with the composition at the moment. Lots of people like the idea of leaving the top part blank - a mystery as to what is the Tamarin looking at. I was initially going to put a sun up there but that idea is appealing. Others are suggesting a night sky. I'm going to add things as I go along - if I screw up at some point at least I will have scans of it in a good stage.
